Incredible central location, close enough to metro, bus stops and amenities, taxi rank and the Metro station and buses. Variety of food options just a short walk away from the venue.

    generous breakfast
    maintenance issues
    limited parking

The generous breakfast options included a full English.

The shared bathroom facilities needed better maintenance, leading to inconvenience . Limited parking made it a challenge to find a spot upon arrival. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent during peak times, frustrating when I needed to catch up on work.

    super clean room
    lacking character

    Unexpected warmth in Jarrow's charm

Upon arrival, our host warmly welcomed us and showed flexibility with an early check-in. The room was super clean and the private bathroom spacious, with a lovely array of tea and coffee options for a cozy night in.

The lack of coat hooks in the room was a slight inconvenience. The street location felt somewhat lonely, lacking the bustling ambiance one might expect from a typical hotel.

    limited parking spaces

The family room was spacious, accommodating both a double and three singles, and offered excellent tea and coffee facilities. The host was flexible, permitting an early check-in and allowing a pet to stay. The location is convenient, with the metro station close by, providing easy access to Newcastle within 20 minutes and a supermarket just around the corner.

    spacious room
    clean bathroom
    large smart tv
    strange smell
    hard mattress

The stay was pleasant overall, especially with a spacious room that had a large smart TV. I appreciated the clean bathroom and easy access to local takeaways, making it convenient after a day out exploring nearby attractions like the Royal Quays Marina. While a strange smell in the room was a bit off-putting, the comfort of the bed and the overall cleanliness made it a decent experience.

The garden is gorgeous and offers a safe space for both kids and dogs, a big plus for my two terriers. The room I stayed in was nicely decorated and located downstairs.

The lack of windows in the room made it uncomfortably hot, and I was disappointed to find no drink-making facilities available during my early morning departure due to the locked kitchen. The TV signal wasn't great, and some rooms may lack locking mechanisms, so double-checking these details is a smart move if you want peace of mind.

    cozy family room
    delicious breakfast
    shared bathroom maintenance

The cozy family room was perfect for us, and the breakfast was delicious. Loved the quick access to the metro. We visited the Royal Quays Marina and found some great local eateries nearby. Highly recommend staying here for a good balance of comfort and convenience.

The shared bathroom could use better maintenance, as it was a bit inconvenient at times.

    comfortable bed
    varied breakfast
    inconsistent tv signal
    limited parking
    maintenance issues

The charming atmosphere was heightened by the comfortable bed and generous tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast options included a wonderful selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The TV signal was inconsistent, which detracted somewhat from the experience, and parking spots were occasionally limited despite assurances. The shared facilities could use better maintenance to enhance the overall experience.
